Summer Camps

BRANT’S SUMMER ADVENTURE CAMPS 

Each summer, Brant offers a number of exciting day camps for children 2 to 11 years.  For Summer 2010, the following camps are being planned.  Final planning and registraiton information will be available at the beginning of March 2010.

 

1.  Kindercamp (2 1/2-5 years)  Location:  3180 New Street

  Time:  9:00-12:00

A ’fun in the sun’ half-day camp that features songs, art, water play and lots of outdoor play.

 

 

2.  Adventure Camps (2 1/2-5 years)  Location:  3180 New Street

  Time:  9:00-4:00 with entended hours 7:15 to 6:00

A day camp designed for active, curious children.  Each camp includes songs, crafts, outdoor play, two snacks,  lunch, and an optional swimming lesson program for the 4-5 year olds.

 

3.  Literacy Camp (Completed SK to grade 3)  Location: 3180 New Street

This popular camp is designed to assist children with their developing language, printing and reading skills through fun activities, games, hikes and one field trip per week.

 

4.  Young Adventurers (Completed SK to 7 years) 

  Time:  9:00-4:00 with entended hours 7:15 to 6:00

This camp will explore different countries, cultures, games, cooking, animals and customs.  One full-day field trip per week and optional weekly swimming lessons are planned.

 

5.  Sun Runners/Trail Blazers (7-11 years)  Location:  2225 New Street

  Time: 9:00-4:00 with extended hours 7:15 to 6:00

This camp is for active, curious children who love sports, crafts, hiking, creek exploration and having fun with friends.  Two separate field trips are planned each week.  Lunches, snacks and all field trip entrance fees are included.
