MORNING PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAMS
AGE RANGE: 2 1/2 to 5 years
TIME: 9:00 to 11:30 am (or 9:30 to 12:00 if on Brant transportation)
PROGRAM 1: Brant Pre-School: East Wing Location: 3180 New Street
Options:
- Two-morning program (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
- Three-morning program (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays)
- Five-morning program (Monday to Friday)
Our East Wing Pre-School is what we call a ’traditional’ pre-school with an emphasis on language and literacy and developing social skills. The programs offer an excellent first experience for children to build confidence through a variety of stimulating activities.
In the Tuesday and Thursday program, an Introduction to French component is included.
In the Monday, Wednesday and Friday program, Music and Movement is the specialty activity on Mondays and Wednesdays with Enrichment Activities each Friday.
PROGRAM 2: Brant Pre-School: Central Location: 2225 New Street
This Pre-School allows parents to customize their child’s educational experience. Your child can come one day, two days, three days, four days or five days. Each day will include a language and literacy, a math and an art activity. In addition, each day will allow the children to explore a specific area:
- Mondays: MUSIC, DRAMA and CREATIVE MOVMENT
- Tuesdays: YOUNG EINSTEIN - a morning filled with literacy games, numbers and problem-solving activities
- Wednesdays: SCIENCE, EXPERIMENTS, COMPUTERS and WIZ-TECH
- Thursdays: ART ATTACK! - exploring different media
- Fridays: ENRICHMENT - from puppetry and kindercooking to balls and hoops and music mania!
