After-School
BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Brant offers two separate Before and After School locations:
1. East Wing - 3180 New Street:
For children who attend a public or separate school in the east area of the city (S of QEW) and some central schools.
2. Central - 2225 New Street:
For children who attend a public or separate school in the west area of the city (S of QEW and E of King Road) and some central schools.
Objectives of our After-4 Clubs:
- We aim to provide a variety of recreational, creative and learning activities of interest to school-aged children.
- We develop a "Club-like" atmosphere in which the children can develop both their social and leadership skills. Our Clubs offer the opportunity for children to meet friends from a variety of schools, to expand their school network and to develop respect for diversity among friends.
- We want the children to have fun, in an informal environment, with staff and friends who care for each other. We recognize that the children have been in a structured "school" environment all day. Coming to a different location, away from school, provides a change and a chance to belong to a "Club" rather than just an after-school program.
Features:
- professional staff: Our staff are all full-time professional staff members from BCC.
- planned program: Each day has a theme and at least one planned activity.
- Club Corner: Here, children can do their home work or simply play/talk quietly with friends.
- PA days and holidays: Full-days programs and field trips are planned for non-school days.
- Before School Program: We can provide before school care and transportation to school.
